Twinsburg Baseball League

The Streetsboro Baseball Travelling teams have competed in the Twinsburg Baseball League (TBL) since 2013.  The TBL is a community based, recreational league just like SJB.  Nordonia, Kent and Aurora also participate in the league, so travel is limited to our area.

The TBL Minor division is for 5th and 6th grade players.  Practices will begin in early April with the first game at the beginning of May.  There will be an end of season tournament after the season to determine the TBL Champion.  In 2016, Streetsboro won the championship.  Games are play throughout the week, including Saturdays.  Bats may not exceed 2 3/4 inches in diameter and may not exceed 33 inches in length. Non-wood bats shall be labeled with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less. Wood bats are permitted.

The TBL Major division is for 7th and 8th grade players.  Practice will be early-mid April with the first game scheduled for 5/19.  There will be an end of season tournament from 7/17 - 7/24, and an All-Star game on 7/26.  Games are throughout the week, including Sunday evenings.  Bats may not exceed 2 3/4 inches in diameter, may not exceed 34 inches in length, and the unit differential, namely the difference between bat length measured in inches and bat weight measured in ounces, may not exceed 3 units (-3). Bats must be BBCOR Certified. Wood bats are permitted.
