Dear Parents and Players,
Spring is almost here and baseball is right around the corner!
The pop of the catcher's glove after a strike sneaks past the whirling stick of a batter, the ping of an aluminum bat as it sends a ball soaring into the sky, the smell of freshly cut grass before the first pitch and the rally cries from a desperate dugout down to its last out are all moments we know and love — and why this time of year is so great.

Dear Parents and Players of 10U Minors Baseball,
The Little League Baseball Season is just around the corner. I want to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the entire SJB Board of Directors to our returning baseball families, as well as all new families to our league and our community. SJB strives to give every child in our league a positive baseball experience that enhances skills, self-esteem and sportsmanship in an environment of fun.
This league has historically started their practices in early April – weather permitting. While the players are in school, practices should not exceed 8pm. The games for 10U Baseball are Mon-Wed-Fri (6 innings) and should start the first week of May. Game times will be 6:15pm for weekday games.
Remember, we are all volunteers! We require good sportsmanship from all involved in practices and games including parents, players, coaches, and officials. Please help us by showing respect to all involved in the game. Your help as a volunteer is always needed and appreciated. Please consider volunteering to be a coach in the 2017 season!
Thank you and see you at the fields,
Thomas M. Sanford
SJB V.P. and Minors Commissioner
