| When severe weather occurs and you are at the ballpark: | |||||||||
| DURING PRACTICES at the first sight of lightning in the area, the managers and coaches must alert the players to get off of the field and away from any metal such as fences, benches, bleachers or bats. | |||||||||
| DURING GAMES at the first sight of lightning in the area, commissioners or someone from the concession stand will alert everyone through the use of airhorns. ONE alert from the airhorn alerts the players to get off of the field and away from any metal such as fences, benches, bleachers or bats. REPEATED alerts from the airhorn alerts the serious conditions exist and all games are to be suspended and everyone is to leave the ballpark IMMEDIATELY! |
